Had a very fantastic time with Skrip and Kern on Sunday. They took me and the kidlets out to lunch and the Nashville Zoo. We saw many animals including an orange and black tiger and a white and black one. Really cool and they were pretty close. No cages, very natural surroundings. Saw some meerkats, swans and there was a petting zoo. I stayed outside the fence but Skrip took my three year old inside to pet a goat and they had some Alpacas! They were so cute and seemed to just take life in stride. The last animal was the elephant and it was really cool to see them. They weren't as big as I thought they would be but that's probably because we weren't close as they seem to be on TV. They were fat though, very big, massive and cute. Oh! and Zeboos! Can't forget the Zeboos as Keyanah called them.

Zipped around a bit afterwards and got to talk to Rosa and SF on Kern's phone. Also throughout the day much conversation was given to the thought of NCIS and Tony and Gibbs. A little CSI was discussed but mostly Gibbs/Tony.

The day was tiring but fun. Skrip had a good time with the kidlet and coming from an overcautious mom she did a great job, lots of patience and talking to Keyanah who can ask a million questions in four minutes.

Had a chance to meet Kern and he is just as cool in person as he is online.

I had planned to go to sleep early that night but I ran into 'G.I. Jane' and had to watch it. Viggo had a ugly mustache but not as fearsome as the one he sports now. Still it was strange looking. But oh god, the gay shorts! The gay shorts were hilarious. Of course he and Demi had to duke it out since they were the stars but the ole UST was avoided mostly. Pretty good movie.
