Finally! CSI continues to kick ass

CSI blew my mind. Great season finale and though I'm not a big fan of Quentin T he did a superb job with the cast and it kept me entertained during the whole two hours.
Trying to avoid spoilers paid off and I loved the episode. Except for the part where there were storm warnings during the entire two hours and when CSI went to commercial the weather people would come on. I was worried that they were cutting into CSI but the weather guy said they were not. I bet they were getting calls left and right.
Poor Nick. He is now the official Woobie of CSI. When he screamed and then was crying and how he turned around and kicked trying to get out of that box. I felt so sorry for him and was sniffly during the entire episode.
Warrick was intense and suffering from survivor's guilt. He knew how close that could have been him.
The guy who set it all up was a fucking nutjob. He blamed CSI's for his daughter being in jail? How about blaming her for being with a guy who shoots people? How about blaming the prison system that has her getting traded for cigarettes? When she used 'lesbian sex slave' it wasn't supposed to be funny but i laughed because that sounds so stereotypical of female prisons. Hell that guy was so smart he probably could have broken his daughter out of jail. The fact that he didn't makes him an idiot nutjob. And I'm not going to pretend that I know how to survive in jail but the woman had five years not life. I felt like telling her to toughen up, beat up her cellmate who was pimping her out and get on with her life. Sheesh.
Greg needs a haircut stat. Seriously. Grissom looked nice. The beard was all trimmed up and yum he was looking intense and hot. I liked how he handled himself. Love how he waited for a chance to identify the ants. That was some fucked up shit. The ants came in and started biting Nicky. Very Smart of him to not move. He must have been listening to Grissom's lectures over the years.
Also it was messed up how every time they clicked the light back on the fan went off. Love Nick chewing the gum and then stuffing it in his ears to use as he fired his gun. And Warrick talking to the screen, thinking Nick was going to shoot himself. *Sniffle* Damn allegies.
Oh and when they found him, GE did a great job showing how out of his mind Nick was, and how Grissom had to try and get through to him. Pancho! That will probably be used so much in fic so it will make my eyes bleed. And Warrick saying he was not leaving after they all had to climb out of the hole. Grissom getting the equivalent weight and put it where Nick was to balance out the bomb stuff was great. So smart.
I didn't like that it ended with that woman cause basically she just got on my nerves. It was nice to see Nick looking okay but I'm thinking he's gonna need some therapy for awhile and in wide open spaces.
Can't wait to see the angsty fic that gets written while we wait for season six.
Now I have a Tuesday to look forward too and I've been avoiding NCIS spoilers but the previews look good. Let's see I'm going to watch the season finales for Desperate housewives, Medium, NCIS, L&O:SVU oh and Las Vegas.
