I wasn't even going to watch the S2 premiere. I must have had some momentary brain lapse and forgot how awesome these people were.



I LOVE GINA TORRES. JUST EVERYTHING ABOUT HER AS JESSICA, INCLUDING THAT RED DRESS.

How badass was she tonight? Though I did have to wonder why the guy that threw a phone at her head wasn't lying dead in a ditch somewhere. Ugh.

Mike "Black don't crack." No, Mike, honey no.

Harvey keeping Mike's job and then telling Jessica if he goes, Harvey goes. I really do think they may be leading up to Harvey and Mike starting up their own law firm in the future. And really why isn't Harvey making Mike get a college degree and then some sort of law degree? Yes, it wouldn't be Hahvard but one is better than none.

The movie quotes. I almost died when Harvey said, "There can be only one." And Jessica knew where it came from!

How is Donna so awesome? While Rachel and Jenny suck?

I loved the scene between Mike and Trevor. Finally Mike sees that Trevor was nowhere near as loyal to Mike as Mike was to him. Yes, the girlfriend stuff was not cool but to go to Jessica? Yeah, I predict that Trevor will show up at some point to try and blackmail Mike or the lawfirm or both. I'm sure Jenny will turn up again too. Bleh.

Can't we just have the Mike and Harvey and Jessica and Donna show?

Man, I am so with you on all of this. All of it! Jessica freaking RABBIT in that dress. That woman, omg.

I had a moment where I was like HARVEY, y u no tell Mike what you're risking for him? Make him understand! But no, Harvey doesn't explain. Sigh.

The previews for next week look intense. We never got that much Harvey and Jessica before but I'm sensing a whole new pairing in the fandom. Them aligned against a common enemy is bringing out all sorts of (hot) possibilities, whew!

Seriously, I gotta go find a screencap of Jessica in that red dress now.

Jessica was stunning in that red dress. Seriously. I had to skip back and rewatch that scene again. I also loved her coat at the funeral.

There was so much awesome in this ep, I loved every minute of it! Although, while I don't mind Jenny, Rachel doesn't work for me either. I don't know if it's the utter awesomeness of Donna and Jessica that overshadow her or what, but I'm having a hard time warming up to her.

Are Mike and Harvey goign to start holding hands soon? Because they are definitely boyfriends. :D

I never thought my love for Gina Torres could actually grow, but this episode (and potentially this season) of Suits has done it.

I think my issue with Jessica/Donna vs Jenny/Rachel is that Jessica and Donna are written as these strong individuals with a a sense of self and their own agendas, needs, personalities, etc... Jenny and Rachel are written as extensions of Mike and his desires so there's no real sense of who they are as individuals.

Good point about the women and Jessica and Donna having a sense of self, while the other two are written as extensions of Mike. I hadn't thought of that.
