Thank you for all the congrats on the house! And the advice. Of which I will be asking for more advice over the coming weeks and scouring the intenetz.
So am I the only one that thinks Tony and Gibbs used to date, then Gibbs broke up with him and Tony started dating Tim, but then they broke up so after a brief hop in bed with Jimmy, Tony is back with a affectionate and tolerant Gibbs?
How awesome were all the 80's references? The Gremlin stuff, Kenny Rogers, Gibbs threatening to call Fornell 'The Gambler.' Also Vance catching Gibbs and Fornell in his office. Then later, Fornell's utter glee in watching Gibbs take a polygraph. Teh polygraph lady putting the clip between Gibbs' legs after Gibbs was all whispery-hot asking her where she was going to put it. Gibbs' 'fuck off and die' response to his last question while being attached to the wires was also hot.
I don't understand Abby's aversion to Tim getting a gf.
I still love my show, original flavor.
Didn't watch NCIS: 'we are gay' b/c Glee was on but I'll catch NCIS:'look at how gay we are' today or tomorrow.
Justified! I love Justified. It's like that Patrick Swayze movie 'Next of Kin' but instead of Patrick moving to the big city of Chicago he stayed home and had to deal with all his wacky red neck cousins and friends.
The woman in the General store that pull the shotgun on the loud mouth guy. I loved that scene and how when he asked her to point the shotgun somewhere else, she pointed it at his balls! Go tough women of KY.
I like Boyd. I don't know why but I do. I love how Raylen is always going to see him. I'm 99.9% sure Boyd has not changed into a man of God. Omg, omg, when Raylen jumped over that table to grab Boyd it was awesome. (and hot).
Ava and Winona meeting reminded me of two southern women being all sorta nice and polite but not meaning it at all. AT ALL.
The prison scene! And Boyd's Daddy. I liked him.
Goofy and semi weird/serious hitman. Wow, main hitman underestimated them mofo's in Kentucky, didn't he?
Bad deputy, no biscuit. I was amazed he didn't get shot. Probably because Raylen got to shoot up stuff in Ava's bedroom earlier.
I like that Raylen got shouted at by his boss. He seems to get away with so much.
The look in Raylen's eyes when Boyd told him maybe the hitman had been after him and not Ava.
Is Boyd like Raylen's Hannibal Lector? Seeing him almost every ep makes him more interesting than that one note yokel pretend white supremacist in the first ep.
Oh and last ep with Raylen's daddy? I saw something in the way he acted in Raylen. That casual violence they do so well. It's not an explosion of violence. It's like they both have their anger buried and it doesn't explode out but it does come out. With bullets or baseball bats.
Next week looks good too.
I keep waiting for V to get better. I keep waiting for more resistance fighters and maybe Marc Singer or Michael Ironside(from the original series) to show up too. This show moves slowly. I like the terrorist guy. The reporter guy? He looks so much like Michael J Fox, it's crazy.

Date: 2010-04-28 05:50 pm (UTC)I think it was the most cliched and poorly written ep out of the season (and what was with the brand new MTV camera close ups on the eyes and mouth and cheek and hairline? how random!) but it was SO MUCH FUN.
Seriously, I'm going to have to start shipping Raylan/Boyd soon. Like yesterday.

I keep waiting to see what Boyd's big plan is and with daddy in the picture perhaps we will soon. Love this show it's very raw and I had the feeling Raylan was the target all along but seeing him in protective mode was just sexy. I realized only moments before his ex introduced herself to Ava that they didn't know who eachother was.
