Um, wow. Just when I think I have White Collar's number it goes and gets a new cell phone.



Neal getting naked with Alex. Alex bugs me. Mostly she makes me roll my eyes alot. Wet Neal makes me happy though. Did they make out after Neal asked her why she was naked?

June as lookout! I love June.

Peter confronting Neal and almost begging him not to do whatever he's abot to do. Peter watching as Neal and Fowler meet. This is how Peter caught Neal: by being obsessive and practically a stalker. I love it.


Raise your hand if you wanted El to pop Fowler in the mouth. Raise your hand if you loved when Peter did it. When Fowler told Jones to take Peter's badge and gun and Jones was like "you have your own men for that...sir." The pause, the pause contained about a million 'fuck yous.' I love Jones.

OMG, Neal shirtless and sculpting and I think I swallowed my tongue. MB is super hot and his body is scary hot.

Neal showing Peter is turned off tracker. I think that says alot about how far they've come.

Diana showing up was awesome. I love her.

I love that Neal's announcement at the Party was essential to him getting the box.

Wow, Alex double crossing Neal. Didn't see that coming /sarcasm

Peter shooting Fowler. And Diane all "how did you know he had a vest on?" and wow, Peter saying "I didn't." Peter can be hardcore. I forget that sometimes. Fowler asking Peter why he cared about where Neal was. Because he loves him! Has he not been watching the show?

Alex bringing the box back in hope of future nookie times if Kate comes up dirty. Heh.

Neal saying goodbye to everyone. June, Mozzie, El. I got kinda sniffly.

The airport. Loved Neal talking about choices and even though he did a lot of good, still wanting to be with Kate. SLASHIEST MOMENT OF THE SERIES SO FAR STRAIGHT AHEAD!

Peter having Neal admit that he didn't tell Peter good bye because he knew Peter could change his mind. Just the amount of love and trust and knowledge these two have in each other. It makes me want to just collapse from the squee of it all. And of course I'm sure a lot of us thought Neal was going to tell Peter he loved him.

THEN PLANE GO BOOM!!! HOLY CRAP!

So I haz questions. Was Fowler's new ID thing for Kate and Neal something real or something he made up? Was Neal actually, legally free? Fowler said this went above him so hmmmmm. Neal was almost on the plane. If he hadn't kept pausing while he and Peter were doing their tragic doomed love thing.

But did Fowler set it up or did he actually believe Kate and Neal could leave? Will we ever learn if Kate was crooked or just an semi innocent pawn?

I swore Neal was going to tell Peter that he loved him. Swore.


And Neal needs to sculpt half-naked more often. He could sell tickets and turn away from his life of crime.


Neal really needs to swear off girls that aren't El, he seems to have horrible taste. (I do wonder what was up with Kate and her motives though. And I guess her looking like El was a coincidence?)


I mostly spent the scene in the pool wondering at how different Neal face looks without the fluffy hair.

Neal looked seal like in that water. I loved that scene but I loved the half naked sculpting even more.

The scene with him and Peter at the end. Omg, I think my slash meter broke. It was so just...unf. I loved it so much.

Was Kate even shown clearly? It seemed to me like she conspicuously wasn't, which would suggest that it wasn't actually Kate on the plane. If it was really all Kate's plan to run away with Neil, why did she wait for him on the fricking plane? She could have at least met him in the hangar or, you know, anywhere else. If she'd been eager to see him, she wouldn't have lurked like that.

And yes, I was waiting for a declaration of love, too. :D

I actually really liked Alex in this one. Her decision to return the music box was both sentimental and practical - she didn't want to lose Neal but she also didn't want the Big Bad on her heels. I like the way she thinks.

What I also liked was the music! While Neal was sculpting and then later on at the airport. Those were some awesome musical cues there.

Oh yeah. Although Peter slugging him was pretty awesome. And also, Peter hugging El when they were back at home and she was ranting and raving and he just hugged her and awwwwwww.....he's the best husband ever.

Alex makes me roll my eyes a lot too. I want to like her but she's just not working for me. I think because of the way she jerks Neal around.

I think the ID thingy was a fake.
If I remember correctly, Fowler told Neal to ride/fly into the sunset with Kate...and then told Peter they would be working for OPR...
Not sure if Fowler knew the plane would explode, but doubt that he would care now that he has the box.
And Kate, semi-innocent pawn. Might be she could not admit to herself (and Neal) that she was way over her head, trying to con Fowler (and the big boss)

Mozzie and Peter both explained that even if the IDs were real, they were still an elaborate hoax because they were created as 'deep-cover' IDs for a department that doesn't have deep-cover agaents. But that being said, I think the new IDs were fake, but that Fowler thought they were real, the better to sell it to a master conman who can read people like audiobooks.

I agree it was strange that Kate not only didn't come out of the plane to greet her 'long-lost love', but even seemed to be trying to hide when Peter showed up. So, yeah, I'm wondering if that wasn't Kate, and she will be back.

And as much delight as Fowler seems to get out of tormenting Peter, Neal, and everyone, that phone call made me wonder if someone's idea that I saw somewhere that Fowler is acting under duress isn't true. The call made it clear he was someone's puppet, and was trying to get assurances that whatever deal he'd made would be kept. So I wouldn't be a bit surprised to discover that Fowler will turn up dead as the Big Boss tries to cover his/her tracks.

Of course if Fowler is eliminated, the standard plotline for 'insurance' against such clean-ups could also lead to a treasure hunt next season as Peter&Neal track down clues Fowler might have left.

As for what makes the music box so special ... other than the clasic secreted treasure map plot, I don't know.

Anyway, those are my thoughts about where we might be headed next season, but only time will tell.
