It always struck me as odd that Peter kept ignoring Neil's increasing desperation to find Kate. Not very intuitive for someone who's supposed to be as smart as he is.

Peter seems much more dominate and smart! While Neil has his secrets and hidden agenda, so does Peter. They're even better matched then before!
