Yes, since LL Cool J(i have crushed on this man for around 20 years, jeez) is now on my TV every Tuesday night I will be using more of his songs as Subject headers.
I think both shows did well, hence the title.
I liked it more than I thought I would. I'd been avoiding all spoilers and previews and wow. MW knocked it out the park. Loved his story telling and the movie stuff and the flashbacks. Loved his interaction with McGee(who has matured and was looking good)and Gibbs. Especially with Gibbs.
I love the comparison of how dirty and grubby Tony looked in the present to the flashbacks where his hair is all shiny and gorgeous, just like him. I also thought he acted mostly mature with the women he interviewed and I loved loved how Gibbs gave it to him to do and gave him other stuff. It was like they were partners and yes please, more.
I didn't know that was McGee on the floor until the bad guy kicked him and rolled him over. At first glimpse I thought it was Ziva, then later when Tony mentions vengeance for Ziva's death. When they find out about the sunken ship, Awww, Tony's face! Gibbs!
Then came BAMF time. As in BAD ASS MOTHER FUCKER. Gibbs sending Tony and McGee on a mission, knowing they can take care of themselves. Tony referencing True Lies and then Gibbs! Sniper Gibbs! All hot and camoflauge and holy shit! I may have yelled out loud. A lot. A lot a lot. Tony and McGee getting Ziva out!
This was a team episode and it gets two BAMF thumbs up.
If we don't get at least one shirtless LL Cool J scene this season I will accuse them of wasting the natural resources at hand.
Oh yeah. This was a good ep. Liked the new people. Dom was funny and geeky. Eric reminded me of Hardison from Leverage. Nate, ehhh. So so and Kenzi was kinda bland. I liked the other field agent they had.
Callen! Obvious PTSD from getting shot. Homeless! Orphan! He just scored the woobie triumvirate. And G is his first name? Really? Omg, I need to bake this man cookies.
Sam is hot of course. I need more background on him but I liked his "I'm going to get you a birthday card" which I then changed to some type of sexual favor.
I called the dad, 'Luis' being bad because they were dealing with Mexican Cartels and he was Mexican, or of Latino descent, and Hollywood loves stereotypes! Omg Hollywood stop taking the obvious crappy route. Make the mom a baddie or something. Change it up.
The slash in the ep was good. Long looks, past history together, and yes! I called the offer of Sam's sofa to Callen.
Anyone see the preview for next week? Was there a line from G to Sam about 'i'd hate to think you were cheating on me." I think there was and that means this season will be fun and I need to see if there's a Sam and G comm yet.
Tired, must go to sleep. Hopefully to dream about hot guys doing hot stuff.

Yes, yes there was that line. I squeaked out loud at it.
I haven't seen one specifically for Sam and G yet, but there is

Though I . . . have no idea what it means. The name (and the excessive bolding on the profile *g*) make me leery of joining.
Thanks for mentioning your slash comm, though. I joined that earlier this morning before I had to run off and do some shopping.
I also joined ncis_la hoping to find some icons. I haven't been keeping up with my NCIS comms; do you know if they're allowing ncis:la icons at the ncis icon comm? I need to run off and check that. When I get a chance. *g*

Date: 2009-09-23 06:11 am (UTC)I just realized I probably haven't commented to you before but Taylor sent me all these links to lovely stories for the pretty boys of Dark Blue and tells me you've been encouraging her. I must thank you for that.
