Heroes season finale

Um, are they shitting me? Am I being punked? *looks around for Ashton Kutcher*

What the hell? Sylar wants Claire? Sylar kills Nathan(who i am convinced is a friggin immortal since they keep killing him) and then Matt mind whammies Sylar into thinking he's Nathan?

Wouldn't Peter know? Hmm, I guess not unless he touched Matt then read Matt's mind, not Sylar!Nathan's since he thinks he's really Nathan.

Way to bring out the incest vibes since Sylar was practically proposing to Clair right before he killed her father.

Mmmm, Peter and Nathan declaring their love for each other. Peter knocking out Sylar.

Anyone besides me think the President Worf could have handled himself if someone would have just found him a fucking bat'leth?

So, I really want Peter to touch Hiro and then go back in time and save his brother, the real Nathan. I don't like fauxNathan. But I'll be watching to see what happens.

Oh show, you promised never to do this again if I kept watching.

Bonus yum. Last week Adrian Pasdar being Nathan who was really Sylar=Jim Profit.

Yep. *nods* I agree with everything above. My face was like O.o by the time the episode ended. This show really needs to stop making me yell at my t.v.

[identity profile] kelly-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
I'm glad I wasn't around anything heavy because my tv would have a big hole in it. Damn writers.

I need a little cartoon peter to say "OMG THEY KILLED NATHAN!"

[identity profile] sparky77.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
They killed Nathan again?

Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

[identity profile] kelly-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Q, they killed him all gross and stuff just like always. That is no way to treat the hotness that is Adrian. I think the writers got ahold of some really good drugs.

[identity profile] sparky77.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
*pets* It will be okay. The pretty will survive.

[identity profile] kelly-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
The pretty needs to run wild and free and preferably with not any clothes on.

[identity profile] ixchel55.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
OK, I quit watching about 1/2 way through the season. Did they change their canon again? Or is Sylar still Peter and Nathan's brother and therefore Clair's uncle?

Way to be infected by fandom, writers!

Last week Adrian Pasdar being Nathan who was really Sylar=Jim Profit.

Wow! Way to be enigmatic and convoluted! (The writers, not you. Although you do a pretty good kob yourself. *G*)

[identity profile] likesthesilence.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Nope, he was never their brother. It was all manipulation on the parents Petrelli's parts.

[identity profile] ixchel55.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Shit, I was right! Way to be totally convoluted.

Thanks.

[identity profile] likesthesilence.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
Quite welcome. Oh, and Sylar's whole backstory got even more convoluted, in Volume Four. Apparently Virginia and Martin Gray aren't his real parents. His real dad was Virginia's brother in law, with his same power, and he sold ickle!Gabriel, and then killed Gabriel's mother in front of child!Gabriel. IDK, that's about as . . . simple as I can put it right now @_@

[identity profile] kelly-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
He's wasn't their brother like destined said below but now he kinda is.

I mean Matt brainwashed him into believeing he was Nathan so in essence Sylar got his(kinda) wish and became a Petrelli.

Oh and Sylar was totally macking on Claire made me uncomfortable and ewww.

I mean I write petrellicest and him caressing her face and talking about how she could be his 'first' first lady had me going making weird, omgwherestheguyfromdateline, faces.

[identity profile] ixchel55.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
I can totally get into same generation incest of the same sex...I mean - hello! Sam/Dean, Peter/Nathan...but cross-generation is a total squick for me, and I guess there's a hold-over of 'thou shalt not create little 2-headed babies' that makes me shy away from the brother/sister thing, as illogical as that is. o.O

[identity profile] teardropdangel.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
Agreed. I couldn't help but gag a little during that scene. It completely didn't help that Claire looked so damn young with her bangs.

[identity profile] drumkings.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS. THE SHOW JUST DUMPED MY ASS.

Rawrrrrr. Have Sylar come back. Then kill him (plz). Adrian needs to get off of this shit and onto Profit Part II (where 10 years into the future, he's just as nekkid and twice as sexy).

[identity profile] kelly-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
"He's just as nekkid and twice as sexy."

That would be the most brilliant tease for a show ever.

[identity profile] drumkings.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously. They should consider it. I'd watch it. ;)

[identity profile] gatezilla.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 02:35 pm (UTC)(link)
It wouldn't be a finale if Nathan didn't die.

But seriously, wtf? I haven't really been watching this season - does Claire's blood not heal people anymore? Wouldn't that have fixed him right up? I do not want Sylar-on-the-inside Nathan.

[identity profile] kelly-girl.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 03:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't want either. It's weird and makes me sad that it's not really Nathan. They didn't even mention Claire and her amazing blood of reviving the dead.

I'm holding out for Peter going back in time and saving his brother as the song 'secret lovers' plays.

if you were around during the day, i wouldn't leave comments like this

[identity profile] sandersyager.livejournal.com 2009-04-28 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I wasn't surprised when Nathan died. How, now that was a shock. Was not expecting the whole TK throat cutting deal, and could have lived without seeing that, quite frankly. But spoilers have been out for months that there'd be three deaths, two that would stick, one that wouldn't, and that Sylar would be killing a Hero who's been around since Season One. I was hoping for HRG, but given the plot line, Nathan was the obvious choice.

The Claire/Sylar stuff definitely was creepy, but not so much because the age---Claire's, what, seventeen now? The immortality factor takes a little of the ick away, sort of like Buffy and Angel, except still icky. Also, what the hell is up with Claire's hair? I know it's not the point, but Jesus, it's been bothering me for weeks. The bangs are bad, the color is bad, and she looks like she's got spray on tan on top of it. The break up clearly didn't do Hayden any good.

Oh! The point before I got distracted was that "Claire is going to be so mad at me." Uh, Sylar, sweetie, Peter? Is going to kick your ass nine ways to Sunday, and can stick around just as long as you and Claire to do it over and over and over again.

Although, that's my perfect idea of Hell. Stuck for eternity with a psycho, an emo and the goatee. The *only* thing worse would be the Angel/Heroes crossover where Short, Dark and Broody met Tall, Dark and Forehead and they moped around Europe for fifty years.

Did you notice the only time Nathan seems to feel the need to say he loves Peter is right after he's done something to bring about the end of the world and Peter's having to join forces with him to save it?

I'm curious about faux!Nathan and how long it'll take for Sylar to really reappear.

[identity profile] budclare.livejournal.com 2009-04-29 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
It's my fault. I demanded that they kill a white male for a change. O_o

(Seriously, did he bleed to death through his trachea or what? It looked bizarre...not to mention icky. And I got stuck watching it twice, because nbc.com's video player thingy is freaking buggy.)

[identity profile] budclare.livejournal.com 2009-05-01 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
I figured out why (probably) they didn't try Claire's blood: Angela believes her dreams can't be changed. Saving Nathan using Claire's blood is not what she dreamed, so...

(This is, of course, ignoring questions of whether or not Angela is insane, and also whether or not the "dreams can't be changed" thing has even been consistent throughout the series. Fortunately I no longer care enough about the show to worry much about little things like continuity. Silver lining, hee.)
