Wherein I babble about tonight's NCIS for five minutes



Tony knew where Gibbs was born. Loved his excitement at the name on the ring and just calling Gibbs 'the man.' Tony totally looked at Gibbs files his first year there.

Loved them joking on Gibbs origins.

Gibbs!Daddy! Omg. My hubby's reaction? "Gibbs is a Walton!"

He's a flirt!

Tony and Abby's "I'll be right there!" made me laugh.

Gibbs was kind of acting like a teenager.

Gibbs has loved tinkering and hanging out in a garage all his life.

Young Gibbs was cute. Older Gibbs with that grin as he drove that car? Hot. (Yes, I have come to be okay lusting after a man that is on the backside of his fifties)

Loved Jack sitting on the porch with his shotgun. Cause that's how the Gibbs (Gibbses?) roll.

Tony grinning and trying to get to Jack so he could bombard him with questions and thereby learn more about his boss/man crush.

Abby flirting and hugging Jack. Ha!

Interesting twist at the end there.

Jack gave Tony a jacket/sweater thing.

Awww, Shannon!

Awesome ep. I now want fic where Tony and Gibbs make out in his new kickass car.

I loved this episode for all the reasons you just said. I love it when we get a peak into the lives of the people. All the Gibbs hints were just fantastic. And I adored Papa Walton Gibbs. The apple didn't fall too terribly far from that tree, did it? *G*

Now, we've had bits and pieces about Tony's home life growing up but a lot of it was contradictory. We're due for a 'Tony's painful childhood' story.

And yes, Tony and Gibbs totally need to make out in that car. That car hasn't seen action for decades. It's time to be re-christened!

BTW, Jack bringing a 'lady friend' to Shannon and Kelly's funeral? Really not cool. But I forgive him. He was hurting too.
