The woman in my post is Crystal Renn. She's very hot and even hotter for realizing her modeling agency would never be satisfied with her body and telling them to get bent. I found the article about her over on 'Shapely Prose' or a link from that site. I love that site. It's very cool.
I mean, wow, she talked about lettuce being the main thing she ate at about every meal and the nine hours she worked out two days in a row before a shoot and being so skinny and they still kept telling she had to lose weight. *Shakes head* Now she's a plus size model and sounds much happier.
Kiddies had their annual check-ups and I finally got it together enough to get them checked out by a cardiologist to make sure they didn't have any heart problems like AJ had had. Our pediatrician was very understanding and referred us to a doctor that came here to town twice a week from Nashville. I had to take AJ's autopsy stuff when we had the appointment.
The doctor checked them and did an ultrasound of their hearts. They're fine and he didn't find any traces of 'Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy' which was the main thing AJ had.
I had a doctor appnt. yesterday with a doctor my primary doc referred me to. What he didn't tell me was that the doctor was an Oncologist so I get the info to fill out in the mail and there's a pamphlet in it about dealing with Cancer and I'm like, "um, what?" I knew they were going to be checking my blood and after some reassurances from Dar I felt calmer.
The doctor was really cool and assured me he didn't see a significant rise in my white cell count and what the other doctor saw was probably from vitamin deficiency, but he made another appointment to see me mid-april to check.
It wasn't until after the appointment that I realized the doctor totally looked like a milder version of Lionel Luthor from Smallville. Ha! He was so nice too, so he's probably not plotting to take over the world with a alien.
My dad's doing better and had been deemed cancer free so that is a big relief.
So health wise everyone seems to be doing good. Stacey didn't get the promotion he was supposed to but he got the raise.
It's all very weird and the company he works for is rife with good ole boys(that's who got his job, his bosses boss had a friend who needed a job so they made stacey's boss hire the guy and gave him Stacey's job, though the guy is nowhere near qualified. Stacey's boss has a plan and it's all corporate intrigue and plans and bwa ha ha ha)
The scary episode of Dr. Who is coming on in about two hours. I heard a lot about 'Blink' so I wonder if it live up to the talk.

I suppose a possible upside for Stacey is that he gets more money for the same old job, but it's still unfair that the promotion went to the good ol' boy network.
