Hmm, my crush on JDM is not going away. *Settles in for long haul*
My hubby is teasing me about watching Supernatural. He better be glad I'm watching on the computer or he'd be watching it too.
Hell House- Hee, loved the 'ghostbusters' and the way Sam and Dean were when they first met them. The whole camera/internet thing was interesting. The pranks were crazy and oh look *feels faint* Sam isn't wearing a shirt. He's in just a towel. *Has to go lie down*
It also made me wonder if someone will eventually put Sam and Dean at the sites of all these strange happenings and make a internet movie about them, or turn them into urban legends.
Something Wicked- Hmm, so Daddy Winchester sent them after this witch, knowing Dean would figure out it's the same thing or same one that nearly got Sam? I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
I loved the young boy and his "Two queens, yeah right." So do Dean and Sam get mistaken as gay, a lot? The witch hand was creepy. The old woman at the hospital was funny. "Sleeping with my peepers open!" I liked the flashbacks to young Dean and Sam. Very cute, and shows the evolution of Dean being so protective of Sam.
Provenance- I never thought of how Dean and Sam wouldn't fit in at a rich event. They seem comfortable about everywhere. Dean's "I'll take some champagne," to the owner made me laugh out loud. I liked Sarah.
She was kinda kick ass and I like that they didn't do the whole, "I like you sam but your job is too scary, we must never see each other again." Loved Dean's "Marry this girl!" Also, Dean continually trying to get Sam laid is hilarious.
Dead man's blood- I like how different shows will change the whole vampire mythos. These vampires mate for life, sun just gives them a hurty tan and religious objects don't do crap. Also the whole dead man's blood thing is new to me. Never heard that one. Oh and freaky teeth. SPN gets an A+.
Omg, if someone had told me John Winchester drove a big truck and had a kick ass hidden weapons cache I might have watched this sooner. Really, I love his truck and his scruffiness.
I thought Dean's obvious devotion and Sam's anger was well done. I also like that vampires are almost extinct. I guess SPN didn't want to go the whole BTVS route. Crossbows are cool. I like crossbows.
The whole gun thing was interesting too. John is really gung-ho about this gun. I get that.
I get the feeling we'll be seeing those two female vampires again.
Salvation- John has a shitload of fake ID's. Yes, he is the teacher and Dean was his student/soldier. I thought John's idea of fake gun was a pretty good one. And his getting there early to set a trap for Meg and company was smart.
Devil's Trap- I'd assumed Meg was possessed or a very powerful demon and hey, she was both. Dean was very gung ho, wasn't he? We've seen his and Sam's utter willingness to do anything for family and we see it again here though I had to agree with Dean that it was better to exorcise Meg than let the Demon remain.
So when they exorcise the demon it dies? I always assumed they just went back to hell. Not that I know anything about that stuff. I wonder if SPN has a supernatural researcher.
To the person that decided to tie Jeffrey Dean Morgan spread eagled to a bed, THANK YOU.
Demon!John was sorta hot. Loved the voice. Wonder if it was all JDM or special effects helped alter it. Poor Sam in the middle of Dean and John, each telling him different things.
The truck smashing them was very shocking. I remember reading people's reaction when it happened, and how upset people were about the Impala and the Winchesters.
In my time of dying- I wasn't expecting the show to pick up right after the crash. Sam is a quick thinker isn't he? Loved him threatening the demon. Aww, ghost dean. The reaper reminded me of possessed Jenny on the ep of Buffy with the first and them trying to drive Angel crazy.
I figured John was a little insane but no, he's a lot insane. Yeah, he summoned the demon but to make a deal. Awww, poor baby. I suspected he was going to give his life for Dean's when the demon said he still needed to sweeten the pot. Does John ever come back? The real john?
*Sniffles* More proof of what these guys do for family. I wonder what he told Dean and yes, I want to know what he knew about Sam and the others like him.

Date: 2007-07-27 06:14 pm (UTC)I HATE watching IMToD. I have as big of a crush on him as you do. I really don't like seeing him go. But I like the way they did it.. with the coffee drop and Sam. *tears*
And keep up with these. I'm having fun reading about what you think of everything. ^_^

Date: 2007-07-29 04:56 pm (UTC)I also loved the part in IMToD where the reaper tells Dean that his staying and growing crazy and bitter over the years is how vengeful spirits get made.

Date: 2007-07-28 04:37 pm (UTC)No. You're right in thinking it goes back to...wherever. The individual dies, though, if the demon's abused their body too much, as in Meg's case. Maybe that's where the confusion came in.
I enjoyed reading these! I'm behind on my f-list, so I got the end of the season before the beginning, so I'll look forward to those. Also, Sam isn't wearing a shirt. He's in just a towel. *Has to go lie down* Oh. Yeah. Wait until season two. *humina*

Date: 2007-07-29 05:01 pm (UTC)See I thought the demon died because possessed John tells Dean those were his kids, the one in meg and the other in 'the boy.' And the he asked Dean how would he feel if the demon killed his family and then "Oh yeah, I did."
I think JDM had a lot of fun playing possessed.
