Stiles flopped down on his bed and pulled his laptop closer. Derek walked through the door and took off his jacket. Two days before they'd both been held captive by squid people.
It wasn't their real name but it is what Stiles kept muttering to Derek in the damp cave, where he's tried to staunch the bleeding from Derek getting stabbed with some sort of trident. He'd made Derek laugh with a few Little Mermaid jokes.
He'd also talked really fast and assured the squid people that Derek was not trying to take over the area, that he'd been there with Stiles looking at a College.
Fortunately some of the younger members of the clan believed them and convinced the elders that humans did go far away to further their knowlege.
Stiles promised to mark the college off his list and they were let go with the threat that if they showed up again, they would be dealt with. Stles had no clue how they'd be dealt with and he had no desire to find out.
Tonight, Derek moved carefully and stretched out on Stiles' bed, sighing as he let his body relax. Stiles smiled and rested a hand on Derek's head, fingers carefully scratching the Alpha's scalp.
The movie started up and Stiiles turned the sound up.
"I still can't belive you like Tony Stark more than Bruce Wayne."
Derek sniggered and turned over on his stomach. "Well, you said Christian Bale's version. If you'd said Michael Keaton you might have gotten a different response."
