Oh, LJ why must you be a dick?

Crossposting, showing the f-locked posts, real life(for me) facebook vs lj. Yeah. Not going to post to FB or Twit. I hope you all won't post any of my comments to those places but not everyone is going to be as understanding as you all. Or someone will deliberately do it to someone and then claim 'accident.'

*Digs up DW code I have somewhere*

I plan to see if LJ fixes this in a few days. If not I'm going to go play at Dreamwidth's house. They have chocolate.

In other words, finally got a book I'd been wanting for about a month. It was so good and I gobbled it up in less than 24 hours. I'll rec it later.

I think they're trying to make it useful for people who crosspost and end up devoting too much of their time to one site and can't balance - but at the same time it's annoying. I don't know if people posting others' comments is going to be an issue. We'll see, I suppose :/ I have a Dreamwidth code, but I can't see myself ever leaving LJ.

I'm pretty sure you can only crosspost your own comments to FB/Twitter.

If you need a DW code, let me know - I still have a bunch available. But you'll find that the comms on DW are nowhere near as vibrant as they are here on LJ, unfortunately.

BTW - What was the book?
