So, saw The Losers. Saw JDM. He literally made my toes curl. He was that damn hot.



I love this movie so much. I loved JDM big time but then some other guys stole my love too. Cougar. Jensen. Cougar/Jensen. Loved Pooch too. Roque was crazed. Aisha was awesome played by Zoe Saldana. Even the bad guy was funny and just totally insane. I was shipping him and his main henchman hard. Max/Wade FTW! I've seen the movie three times now and keep noticing new stuff every time. Like when they break in to get some supplies after Jensen is shot by Aisha and you see the dolls from the doll factory where Cougar and Jensen were working in Bolivia.

I really like Cougar but him tipping his hat all the time made me want to start a drinking game.
Chris Evans as Jensen was awesome. Kinda goofy but cute. Loved him singing and that whole scene where he had 'powers' made me remember he was in a movie where he actually had telekinesis. Tell me i'm not the only one who saw him and Dakota Fanning in 'Push.'

Later his "Cougar, be gentle!" made me laugh and gave me a few plot bunnies. Jensen and Cougar have this whole eye communications thing going on throughout the movie. Fandom wise, I've found the most stories about them.

Loved all the explosions and slow mo sequences. The fight scenes were great. It was the perfect Action movie. I bought the graphic novel yesterday and it's different. More violent. More cussing. Jensen seems more crazed and hmm, gruffer?

Oh and Gibbs and Cougar? Know each other because they have that whole 'functioning mute' sniper thing going on. The xover possibilities make me very gleeful.

Conclusion: I have a new shiny toy fandom to play with. Just been reading stories and opinions so far but when I have time, I have bunnies. Also bought Volume 1 and 2 of the graphic novel.

Also the fandom is small but there has already been animal transformation fic, mpreg, h/c, and hot buttered pron. (no butter but you know fandom). I'm waiting on vamp au and werewolf au and the one where all the losers are women. Oh and maybe slavery au *shifty look*.

Oh yeah, there should totally be an AU where they're all women! I need to see the movie again before I can write anything for it, but I have so many other stories I want to write that I'm afraid to. LOL

My ship is the epic (dysfunctional) love story of Clay and Roque. Goddamn, Idris Alba HOW SO FINE. Tell me you didn't pick up on those jealous lovers vibes from Roque (underneath the crazy psycho vibes.)

I just want oodles and oodles of stories about the team's shenanigans and how it upsets the kids when Mom and Dad fight. *nod*

Also something cracky about them babysitting while Poochy and the Wifey go to a movie. *nod*

Oh my, I love this movie so damn much. Where are you finding all this fic?! I think I've only read a JDM/Zoe RFP.

I skipped Push because it seemed like the exact same plot as Jump, just with telekinesis instead of wormholes. Is it worth watching? Evans has a habit of making me love characters I was sure I was going to hate.

dude push was awesome! i didnt even think about that connection. Jensen and Cougar get more and more slasher in volume 4 and 5 of the graphic novels.
