Nice story. I really liked the way you had Sammy bring Dean back, the mechanics of it... and I loved when he realized he had gotten it wrong he just kept on til he fixed it and he did finally have the real Dean. I also love your ending, and the recognition that wanting Sam is a true part of Dean, maybe buried, but in there. It would be pretty cool to see what happens next in this universe-- Sammy courting Dean, or yearning for him, or what? Like maybe Dean doesn't consciously remember what happened with the fragment of himself, but it might come up in his dreams as that part works at him -- a bit like the demon version of himself that his subconscious generated in Dream a little Dream.
